Styles
How often do your styles change?
We produce new styles for the Autumn/Winter and Spring/Summer collections, but we retain the most popular styles from past collections in our portfolio.

What can I expect to see in the next collection?
To be amongst the first to preview the next collection, join our mailing list.

May I supply my own fashion designs?
No, we design our own garments and create our own patterns to ensure we can offer a consistent excellent fit and classic style.

Do you offer Plus size styles?
Yes, we offer Plus sizing for our shirts.

Fabrics
How often do your fabrics change?
We offer a new fabric and color portfolio twice each year - when we launch new collections - and we often update fabrics mid-season. Specific fabrics or colors may become unavailable. Our website displays our current fabric offering.

Will the fabric I select look exactly like what I see on my computer screen?
All computer screens represent color slightly differently. For that reason, we can not guarantee that the color of your shirts will match exactly what you see on your screen. We have provided numerous views of each fabric - both as swatches and photographs - as well as descriptions to help guide your decision-making.

Ordering/Using the Custom Design Studio
How do I order a custom shirt?
You may order online, directly from our Custom Design Studio.

Must I order online, or may I order in the Moi-Même showroom?
You are certainly welcome to get measured and place your order in our New York City showroom. Simply make an appointment for Measuring & Shopping.

Will the Custom Design Studio remember my design the next time I visit?
No, the Custom Design Studio does not keep a record of past shirt designs.

Can I make changes or cancel my order after it has been placed?
As your shirt is made specifically for you, once payment is taken, no changes to the order or any cancellation may be made.

Measurements

How do I take measurements?
We have prepared a printable, two-page PDF guide for taking shirt measurements that we ask you to use - even if a trained tailor takes the measurements for you.

Can I take my own measurements?
To ensure the best fit, we ask that you have a friend, family member or local tailor take your measurements.

Can I return my shirt if my measurements turn out to be incorrect?
We measure all shirts to confirm they have been tailored to match the measurements you provided. If you find that your shirt does not fit upon receipt, we will need to adjust your measurements to ensure proper fit for future orders. For the very first shirt you order, we will provide complimentary alterations or remake your shirt to achieve perfect fit. Future shirts ordered will then be tailored to match the corrected measurements.

If you come to our New York City showroom for a fitting and/or alterations, we will happily make alterations onsite and adjust your measurements in our file accordingly. Please schedule a fitting appointment with us.

Will the Custom Design Studio remember my measurements the next time I visit?
Yes, the Custom Design Studio keeps a record of your shirt measurements. You may access your measurements by logging in with your username and password.

What if my measurements change?
If your measurements have changed since your last fitting, simply adjust them the next time you log in to the Custom Design Studio.

Delivery/Shipping
When will I receive my garments?
Your shirts will be ready 4-6 weeks from the date your order was placed. We will contact you when your order ships.

Do you charge for shipping?
Yes; we charge for UPS Ground shipping. Shipping costs will be added during the checkout process. Customers outside the U.S. will be responsible for any applicable customs duties.

Do you ship internationally?
We ship to customers in the U.S. and Canada. Customers outside the U.S. will be responsible for any and all applicable customs duties.

Can you accept special delivery instructions?
Yes; if there are special instructions you would like us to give the UPS driver (e.g. leave package with a neighbor), please provide them in the Special Delivery Instructions field of the shipping form.

Returns/Refunds
What is your return policy?
We will happily accept returns and alter or remake your shirt in cases where there is a fault with the garment. We will cover all expenses associated with returning and altering or remaking your garment. For details on how to return a garment for fault, please refer to Moi-Même’s Quality and Service Guarantee.

Can I return my shirt if my measurements turn out to be incorrect?
We measure all shirts to confirm they have been tailored to match the measurements you provided. If you find that your shirt does not fit upon receipt, you will need to adjust your measurements to ensure proper fit for future orders. For the very first shirt you order, we will provide complimentary alterations or remake your shirt to achieve perfect fit. We will also pay for the return shipping. Future shirts ordered will then be tailored to match the corrected measurements.

If you come to our New York City showroom for a fitting and/or alterations, we will happily make alterations onsite and adjust your measurements in our file accordingly.

What is your refund policy?
We do not offer refunds. We will strive to make sure you are happy with the shirt you have ordered.

Payment
Do I pay when I order, or when I receive my garments?
You pay for your shirt(s) at the time of order.

What types of payment do you accept in the Custom Design Studio?
We accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa and debit cards with one of the aforementioned logos.

Taxes
Do you charge sales or VAT taxes?
We charge sales tax on New York State orders only. You are responsible for paying any sales or use taxes or customs duties that may be required by your government.

Design and Tailoring
Who is your designer?
Our shirts are designed by
the company’s founder, Dawn Verbrigghe.

Who are your tailors?
Each Moi-Même garment is crafted by skilled tailors in Vietnam, under the guidance of the husband-and-wife team, Mr. Do and Ms. Nguyet – both of whom are second-generation master tailors themselves. Our partners were personally selected by the company’s founder, Dawn Verbrigghe, for their ability to combine classic tailoring t
echnique with contemporary technology and exceptional management – allowing us to efficiently construct suits that have a special, personal touch.
